So, yesterday I decided to hit up some mini golf spots around Daly City. It was a spur-of-the-moment kind of thing, you know, the weather was decent and I figured, why not have some fun?
I started by doing a quick search online to see what options were available in Daly City. I found some promising names like Stagecoach Greens, Lollyland, and Urban Putt. These places popped up as the top recommendations. Oh, and there’s also Subpar Miniature Golf, which sounded pretty intriguing.
First, I drove to Stagecoach Greens. This place is a bit of a drive from the center of Daly City, but I’d heard good things. When I got there, the place was buzzing. It’s got this really cool San Francisco theme, with each hole representing a different part of the city. I played a full round, and honestly, it was a blast. The course was challenging but not frustratingly so, and the theming was on point.
- Visited Stagecoach Greens
- Enjoyed the San Francisco themed course
- Played a full round
After Stagecoach, I was considering Lollyland because it popped up in a few searches. But then I remembered I had to be on the other side of town later, so I skipped it this time. Instead, I headed over to Urban Putt. It’s more of an indoor place, which was perfect because it started to get a bit chilly outside.
Urban Putt was a different vibe altogether. It’s kind of got this steampunk, industrial feel to it. The courses there were super creative, with all these moving parts and gadgets. I spent a good couple of hours there, just taking in the atmosphere and enjoying the game. It was definitely a more laid-back experience compared to Stagecoach Greens.
- Skipped Lollyland due to time constraints
- Went to Urban Putt instead
- Loved the steampunk vibe and creative courses
There was also Subpar Miniature Golf that I wanted to check out, but I ran out of time. From what I gathered, it’s another indoor spot with a fun, quirky design. I’ll definitely hit it up next time I’m in the mood for mini golf.
I also came across some other places like Tipsy Putt and Sunnyvale Golfland USA, but they seemed a bit further out. Maybe they’re worth a visit if you’re making a whole day out of it and don’t mind a bit of a drive.
All in all, it was a pretty successful mini golf adventure. I got to explore a couple of different places, had a ton of laughs, and even got a bit competitive with myself. Mini golf is such a simple pleasure, you know? It’s not just for kids; it’s a great way to unwind and just have a good time, regardless of your age.
If you’re ever in Daly City and looking for something fun and a little different to do, I highly recommend checking out the mini golf scene. Each place has its own unique charm, and it’s a great way to spend a few hours. Plus, it’s a perfect activity whether you’re with friends, family, or even on a date. Just don’t take it too seriously, and enjoy the ride!
