Okay, so today I tried out the “MLB The Show Alter Ego Packs”. I’ve been seeing a lot of people talking about this online, so I figured, why not give it a shot?
First things first, I fired up the game and went straight to my locker. I’m pretty familiar with the interface so I thought, you know, I’ve got this. There should be an option to redeem the purchase, and I was hunting for that. And guess what? It was right there! No biggie, found it pretty quickly.
So, after finding the packs, I was like, “Cool, let’s see what’s inside.” I heard that the base pack has five cards. And not just any cards, but some seriously awesome ones. I was totally pumped at this point.
Opening the Alter Ego Packs
I started with the base pack. Opened it up and boom! Five cards staring back at me. I was feeling pretty good about it. The cards looked amazing, and I was itching to try them out in Diamond Dynasty. I heard there is a second choice pack as well. It contains 5 new cards.

- Checked out the second pack – Another five awesome cards.
Honestly, it was a smooth process. I mean, I went in, found the packs, and got some cool cards. I’m not a pro or anything, just a regular guy who loves playing the game.
After getting the cards, I spent some time adding them to my team. I played a few games, and man, these new cards really do make a difference. It’s like my team got a major upgrade. It’s always fun when you get something new in the game and it actually makes your gameplay better.

So, that’s pretty much it. I got the Alter Ego packs, found the cards, and had a blast playing with them. It was a pretty straightforward experience, and I’m happy I decided to try it out.
