Okay, so today I messed around with a little project – a wrestling quiz. Nothing fancy, just wanted to test my knowledge and, well, have some fun with it. I started out by just brainstorming some questions. Stuff like, “Who’s the ‘Founding Father’ of modern wrestling?” I figured George someone or other, you know how it is with these old-timey names.
Then I moved on to some more specific stuff. Like, “Who was the first Intercontinental champ?” Now, I had a hunch on this one. It was either Pat Patterson or Randy… someone, right? I wasn’t a hundred percent sure, but I jotted down both names to figure it out later.
I also threw in a real softball question, just to keep things interesting: “What does WWE stand for?” I mean, come on, even my grandma knows that one!
Basically, the whole point of this quiz was to see how much I really know about pro wrestling. It’s one of those things where you think you know a lot, but then you start digging and realize there are a whole bunch of gaps in your knowledge.
Getting down to it
- I wrote down about 20 questions or so, a mix of easy and hard ones.
- Then I went through and tried to answer them all without looking anything up.
- Some were easy, some I had to really rack my brain for, and a few I just had to guess on.
After that, I finally gave in and did some searching online to check my answers and fill in the blanks. Turns out, I was right about some, wrong about others, and completely clueless about a couple. It was a good reality check, I gotta say.
Anyway, that was my little wrestling quiz adventure for the day. It wasn’t anything groundbreaking, but it was a fun way to kill some time and learn a few new things about the wild world of professional wrestling.
