Okay, so I’ve been hitting the gym lately, trying to get back in shape, you know? And boxing is a big part of my routine now. But man, my feet were killing me after every session! I realized I needed some proper boxing shoes, and since I’m a huge Anthony Joshua fan, I thought, “Why not try to find something like what he wears?”
I started digging around, asking my trainer and some buddies at the gym. Some mentioned the usual suspects like Nike HyperKO – I saw those come up a lot, they look pretty slick with all those different color options, so i try it on but the feeling is not i want. And there’s also Adidas Probout, full leather, very classic vibe, but they only got ’em in black and white. Didn’t really scream “me,” if you catch my drift. It looks good but i need find another.
Then, I remembered seeing Joshua in those Under Armour shoes. Apparently, he’s got a deal with them or something. That got me thinking, maybe I should check those out, so I started searching online for UA boxing shoes.
I looked up for other brands too. I mean, there’s Gervonta Davis rocking those custom Chrome Hearts boots – super flashy! And then you got your Everlast, Adidas, and Nike models specifically designed for boxing. Also, some folks even wear wrestling shoes or those minimalist training shoes. It’s a whole world of choices out there!
- First, I gotta consider if I want low-tops or high-tops. I learned that low-tops are good if you’re light and quick on your feet, while high-tops offer more ankle support.
- Second, the fit. Comfort is king, right? I want something that feels good on my feet, especially since I’ll be moving around a lot.
- Third, grip. I need shoes that can handle all that pivoting and quick movements. Can’t be slipping around in the ring!
Then how to choose?
I finally found these Hayabusa Pro Boxing Shoes. Hayabusa, I learned, isn’t like a traditional boxing brand, but their shoes looked pretty solid, so I order it and wait 3 days. The first time I tried them on, I was blown away. The ankle support was amazing, they fit like a glove, and the grip? Let’s just say I felt like I could dance around the ring all day!
So yeah, that’s my little adventure in finding the perfect boxing shoes. It took some research, some trying on, and a bit of inspiration from Anthony Joshua, but I finally found a pair that works for me. Now, I can focus on my training without my feet screaming in pain. It’s a game-changer, for real!
