Okay, so today’s little project was called “lily white’s party.” Sounds kinda fancy, right? But trust me, it was a bit of a mess, a fun mess though! It all started when I stumbled upon this thing – “YoRHa No.2 Type B Attire for CBBE 3BA and BHUNP”. Don’t ask me what all those letters mean, I just liked the look of the outfit.
So, I decided, “I’m gonna use this!” But where do I start? I remembered this “Planning Center” thing my church uses. I logged in, thinking maybe I could use it for planning this “party.” It was a long shot, I know, but hey, gotta start somewhere!
Then, for some reason, I got sidetracked. I ended up on the American Airlines website, just browsing flights, dreaming of a vacation, I guess. That didn’t really help with the party planning, but it was a nice little escape.
After that, I somehow landed on this NBA 2K thing. “NBA 2K MyTEAM Database,” it was called. It had all these stats for players, like, a lot of info! I even read something about “NBA 2K25” and “MyCAREER.” I got caught up in looking at all the players and their “dynamic duos.” I do not know why I did that. Maybe I thought some virtual basketball players could join my lily white’s party? I do not know. It made sense at the time, okay?
I spent like, an hour on that, just reading about basketball players, which, again, had nothing to do with the party. Then, I found myself on this site called Quizlet, looking at flashcards. I remember seeing a flashcard with the letter “c” and then another one with just the letter “a”. What a waste of time. I should have used that time to plan the party but I was lost in studying.
Finally, I snapped out of it. I realized I had spent the whole day messing around online and got nothing done for my “lily white’s party.” I do not even know why I tried to do this.
My takeaway from today?
- First, the internet is a dangerous place. It is full of distractions.
- Second, I really need to focus better when I have a plan.
- And last, maybe “lily white’s party” was a silly idea in the first place.
But, you know what? It was still kind of fun in a weird way. I learned some random stuff, got lost in my own little world for a while, and had a good laugh at myself. Maybe tomorrow I will actually plan something, or maybe I will end up somewhere else entirely. Who knows? That is the beauty of it, I guess!
