Okay, so, yesterday I got into this whole thing, right? I was trying to figure out whether to go with DJ Moore or Mike Evans for my fantasy football team. It’s a big decision, you know? I mean, these guys are both really good, but they’ve got their own things going on.
So, first, I dug into some articles and expert opinions. I found this one site that had advice from like a hundred fantasy football experts. That’s a lot of opinions, right? I figured it would be a good starting point. They were all talking about the 2024 draft, which is what I was interested in. I read through a bunch of their stuff, and it seemed like a mixed bag. Some said Moore, some said Evans. Typical, huh?
Then I Started Looking at Stats
I decided I needed more than just opinions, so I started looking at stats. I checked out their projections, you know, the usual stuff. Points per reception, yards, touchdowns, all that jazz. There were a few different sites that had these projections, and they were all a little different, but they gave me a general idea. I also looked at their average draft position, or ADP. It’s basically where other people are drafting them in their leagues. Kinda gives you a sense of what the general consensus is.
And The News
After that, I thought about injuries and stuff. Gotta make sure these guys are actually going to be playing, right? I looked up the latest news on both of them. Any injuries, any off-field drama, anything that might affect their performance. It’s always good to be in the know about that kind of stuff. Both looked good for now.
Here’s what I did
- Read expert opinions from various sources.
- Compared their projected stats for the upcoming season.
- Analyzed their average draft positions (ADP).
- Checked the latest news for any injuries or issues.
After all that, I still wasn’t 100% sure. It’s a tough call! But I felt like I had a better understanding of the situation. I mean, I did all this research, so I figured I was in a pretty good spot to make a decision. At the end of the day I just went with my gut feeling. We’ll see how it plays out, I guess! That’s the fun of fantasy football, right? You never really know what’s going to happen.
So yeah, that’s my story. It was a whole process, but I think it was worth it. Hopefully, it helps me out in the long run. Wish me luck, folks!
