Okay, so I’ve been digging into this whole “Joe Rogan Experience sponsors” thing, and let me tell you, it’s a bit of a rabbit hole. I started by just wanting to know what kind of companies shell out money to be featured on his podcast.
First, I spent some time just listening to a bunch of episodes, trying to catch the sponsor mentions. Man, that guy can talk! And he’s got a ton of different sponsors. It wasn’t easy to keep track of them all, but I tried my best to jot them down whenever they came up.
Then, I tried to find out more about some of the companies. Like, I stumbled upon some name called “Brogan”. Turns out, there’s this “The Brogan Agency”, started by some dude named Shawn back in ’98, that represents actors. Also found some journalist named Jan Brogan, who’s been writing for the Boston Globe and a bunch of other places for 30 years. Sounds like a busy guy.
Then I started seeing the word “Quizlet” pop up a few times. I guess it’s some kind of online study tool? Found some flashcards talking about “binary format” and something called “CodePlex”. Not really related to sponsors, but hey, I was learning new stuff.
I also ran into something about “Medicare Advantage Plan” and “Medicare Supplement Insurance Plan”. Seemed complicated, but it was basically saying that if you’re in one plan, you can use the other. Don’t ask me to explain it, though, insurance stuff always makes my head spin.
My Main Takeaways
- Lots of Sponsors: Joe Rogan has a ton of different sponsors. Seriously, it’s a lot to keep up with.
- Variety of Companies: It’s not just one type of company either. There’s everything from talent agencies to study tools to, well, I don’t even know what some of these companies do.
- Healthcare Connections: This “Brogan” name kept coming up, and apparently, they’ve been doing healthcare stuff since 1984. So, there’s definitely some focus on that area.
So yeah, that’s where I’m at with this whole Joe Rogan sponsors thing. It’s a wild world out there, and keeping track of who’s paying to get their name on his podcast is a job in itself. I’m not even sure I scratched the surface, to be honest. But hey, at least I learned a few things along the way, even if it was just about binary formats and Medicare.
I try to keep going on my investigation. Maybe I will find some interesting connections. Who knows?
