Okay, so today I was really curious about Tiger Woods’ performance at the Masters. I mean, the guy’s a legend, right? So, I decided to dig into his scores and see how he did.
First, I opened my browser and typed in something like “Tiger Woods Masters scores” into the search bar. I hit enter and a bunch of websites popped up. I clicked on a couple of them, they are all from those big-name sports news sites, you know the ones.
The information was all over the place, to be honest. Some sites had his scores for each round, others just had the overall score. And some were more focused on the news and commentary rather than the numbers. It was kind of a mess!
Digging Through the Data
So I grabbed a pen and paper, yeah, old school, I know. I started jotting down the scores from each round that I could find. It took a while because I had to jump between different websites to get the full picture. I was like a detective, piecing together the puzzle.
- Round 1: I found he shot a 73. Not bad, but not his best.
- Round 2: This one was tougher, he scored a 74.
- Round 3: He really picked up the pace here, shooting a 68. Nice!
- Round 4: He finished with a 77. A bit rough.
After I had all the round scores, I added them up to get his total. It came out to 292. Then I compared that to the scores of other players to see where he stood in the rankings.
Making Sense of It All
It was interesting to see how his performance varied from round to round. Some days he was on fire, other days not so much. That’s golf for you, I guess. It really shows how tough the Masters is, even for a legend like Tiger.
In the end, I spent a good chunk of my day doing this, but it was fun. I learned a lot about the tournament and how Tiger fared this year. I might not be a golf expert, but I definitely feel more informed now. Plus, it was a nice little project to keep my mind busy. Maybe I’ll do this again next year and see how he does then!
