Alright, so I tried out this thing called “Bol Bol Wingspan” today. It sounded interesting, so I decided to give it a shot.

First, I looked up what Bol Bol’s wingspan actually is. Turns out, the guy’s got a crazy reach! It’s like, super long. After I got that number, I started to figure out how to measure my own wingspan.
Found a measuring tape in my junk drawer – score! Then, I stood against a wall, stretched my arms out as wide as they could go, and had my buddy mark where my fingertips ended. It was kinda awkward, but we managed.
After that, we measured the distance between the marks. Turns out, my wingspan is way shorter than Bol Bol’s. No surprise there, the guy’s a giant! But it was still a fun little experiment to see how I stacked up.
Then, to make things more interesting, I decided to see how many everyday objects I could line up within my wingspan. I grabbed some books, a couple of shoes, and even a broom – just random stuff I had lying around.
- Started with the books. Lined them up spine to spine. Fit about 10 hardcover books within my reach.
- Next, tried the shoes. Could fit 4 pairs, heel to toe.
- The broom was a bit tricky. Only managed to fit one, obviously, but it was funny to try.
The Results
Basically, my wingspan is pretty average, nothing like Bol Bol’s. But it was cool to see how many things I could fit within my reach. It’s a silly little thing, but it gave me a new perspective on my own size, you know? And hey, at least I can reach the top shelf without a stool!
It is just a fun little thing that I tried. I guess you can also try it!
