Okay, so I’ve been messing around with my fantasy football roster, and I’m stuck on this one decision: Jaylen Warren or Ty Chandler? Both are running backs, and they’ve got some potential, but I just can’t figure out who’s gonna be better for me this season.
First, I started digging into Jaylen Warren’s stats from last year. He’s with the Steelers, and he did pretty alright as a backup. I went through all the game logs, checked out his rushing yards, touchdowns, and even how often he was getting the ball. He seemed to be getting more involved as the season went on, which is a good sign.
Then, I did the same thing for Ty Chandler. He’s with the Vikings, and he also had some decent games last year. I looked at his numbers, compared them to Warren’s, and tried to see if there were any patterns. Chandler seemed a bit more explosive at times, but maybe not as consistent.
Next, I started reading up on what people are saying about these two for the upcoming season. I scrolled through a bunch of articles and forum posts. Some folks are saying Warren is gonna take on a bigger role in Pittsburgh, especially with Najee Harris possibly slowing down a bit. Others are betting on Chandler to be the main guy in Minnesota, especially after they let Alexander Mattison go.
After that, I tried to watch some highlights of both players. I wanted to see their running styles, how they break tackles, and if they’re any good at catching passes out of the backfield. Warren seems like a tough runner, while Chandler looks a bit more shifty and quick.
I even tried to factor in the teams’ overall offenses. The Steelers have a new offensive coordinator, so that could shake things up. And the Vikings are gonna have a new quarterback as well, so there’s a lot of change happening there. I’m not sure how all of that will affect these two running backs. It’s a real head scratcher.
My Current Thinking
- Warren:
- Seems to be trending upward.
- Might get more opportunities this year.
- Plays for a team that loves to run the ball.
- Chandler:
- Could be the lead back in Minnesota.
- Has shown flashes of big-play ability.
- Might benefit from a new quarterback and offensive system.
Honestly, I’m still pretty torn. Both guys have their pros and cons. I might just have to flip a coin or something. Or maybe I’ll wait a bit longer and see if any more news comes out during training camp. It’s a tough call, man!
