Okay, so I’ve been meaning to dig into the Broncos’ Super Bowl wins, and today was finally the day! I’m a huge football fan, but I realized I didn’t know the details as well as I thought I did. So, I decided to make a project to get the information and make sure I understand.
First, I opened my browser. Gotta start somewhere, right? My go-to is usually just plain old Google. I typed in “Broncos Super Bowl championships” and hit enter.
I started by scanning through the search results. It showed me a few sites, and I clicked on the first one that looked promising.
Super Bowl XXXII
- This game took place in 1998.
- Broncos beat the Green Bay Packers.
- The final score was 31-24.
- Terrell Davis was the MVP. I remember him! He was a beast!
Super Bowl XXXIII
- This game took place in 1999.
- Broncos defeated the Atlanta Falcons! Back-to-back wins, pretty cool.
- The score was 34-19.
- John Elway was the MVP in this one. Makes sense, he’s a legend.
Super Bowl 50
- This was much later, in 2016.
- They won against the Carolina Panthers.
- The score was 24-10.
- Von Miller got the MVP. That defense was insane that year!
I spent a good chunk of time reading through these game summaries, looking at old photos. I kind of fell down a rabbit hole watching old highlight reels on. Man, those were some exciting games!
After collecting all this information, I feel like I’ve got a much better handle on the Broncos’ Super Bowl history. It was fun to learn, it’s more fun to share. Maybe I’ll tackle another team’s history next!
