Okay, here’s my blog post about digging into the Alcaraz vs. Djokovic head-to-head stats:

So, I’ve been glued to the tennis matches lately, especially with the rise of Alcaraz and his battles against Djokovic. I wanted to really see how these two stack up, so I decided to do a deep dive into their head-to-head record.
First, I started by just trying to find a reliable source. You know, there are tons of sports sites out there, some better than others. I bounced around a bit, but I figured it made sense to start with the bigger, more established places.
Once I found some decent-looking records, I started writing down the results. Nothing fancy, just a simple list in my notebook:
- Match 1: Winner, Score
- Match 2: Winner, Score
- And so on…
It was pretty slow going at first. I kept getting distracted by other articles and highlights. It’s tough to stay focused when there’s so much cool stuff to watch! But I pushed through, reminding myself I wanted the full picture.
As I gathered more data, I started to see some patterns. For example I see the scores, set by set. It gave me a much better sense of how each match actually played out, not just who won in the end.
The more matches I added, the clearer the overall picture * win-loss record is one thing, but seeing the individual match scores, and especially noting things like tie-breaks.
After doing all of this, now I felt like I had a handle on Alcaraz v Djokovic matches.
