Today, I wanted to mess around with something I’ve been putting off – “j e y”. I’ve heard some buzz about it, so I figured, why not give it a shot? Let’s dive into the messy, probably buggy, adventure.

Getting Started
First things first, I needed to actually, you know, get the thing. I poked around a bit and found… well, not a whole lot of super clear instructions. It wasn’t like, a one-click install. More like a… “figure it out yourself” kind of deal. Classic.
Eventually, I stumbled upon some files. Seemed legit. Or, at least, legit enough for me to throw caution to the wind and start downloading.
The Thick of It
Once I had the files, I kind of just… stared at them. No really obvious “start here” button. So, I started clicking around. I opened up one of the files, and it was a whole bunch of code-looking stuff. I’m not gonna lie, most of it looked like gibberish to me.
After some trial and error (mostly error), I found a file that seemed like it might be the main one. I double-clicked, fingers crossed, and… something happened! A window popped up. Progress, maybe?
Wrestling with… Something
Okay, so the window that popped up wasn’t exactly user-friendly. It had a bunch of buttons and boxes, and I had absolutely no idea what most of them did. So, I did what any reasonable person would do: I started clicking things randomly.
- I clicked one button, and a bunch of text scrolled by super fast. No idea what it said.
- I clicked another button, and… nothing seemed to happen.
- I tried typing some stuff into a box, but it didn’t seem to do anything either.
Honestly, I spent a good chunk of time just poking around, trying to make sense of it all. It felt like trying to assemble IKEA furniture without the instructions. Frustrating, but also kind of fun in a weird way.
Small Victories (Maybe?)
After a while, I think I started to figure out some of the basics. I managed to get it to… do something. I’m not entirely sure what it did, but it was definitely something. It displayed some text on the screen that wasn’t there before. That’s gotta count for something, right?
Wrapping Up (For Now)
So, after spending a good few hours on this, I’m still not entirely sure what “j e y” is all about. I definitely didn’t master it, or even come close. But I did manage to get it to do… well, something.

I’m calling it a day for now. My brain is fried. Maybe I’ll pick it up again tomorrow and see if I can make some more progress. Or maybe I’ll just go watch cat videos. We’ll see.
