Okay, so I wanted to get a handle on the South Alabama Jaguars football team’s lineup. You know, see who’s playing where, who the starters are, that kind of stuff. So, I decided to dig up their depth chart. Here’s how I went about it, and what I found.

First things first, I needed a plan. I figured there were a few places I could potentially find this info:
- The Official Team Website: Seemed like the most obvious place to start.
- Fan Forums/Blogs: Sometimes, dedicated fans compile this info.
- Sports News Sites: The big ones, and maybe some local Alabama news outlets.
The Search Begins!
I started with the official website. Browsed around the football section, looked for a “roster” or “depth chart” link. I clicked around for a bit, but I couldn’t find anything that really showed the positions in a clear, depth-chart format. It was more just a list of players.
Next, I hit up some Google searches. I tried things like “South Alabama football depth chart,” “Jaguars football lineup,” and so on. I found some articles from last season, but nothing current. Found a few message board threads, but the info was all speculation and rumors.
Deeper Dive
I decided to try some more specific sports websites. I also checked out some local Alabama news sites, figuring they might have more in-depth coverage. Again, I found plenty of articles about the team, previews, game recaps, but no actual depth chart.
My Findings (or Lack Thereof)

What I Learned
This little project taught me a few things:
