Okay, so I’ve been meaning to get into this whole “raw food” thing for a while. I kept seeing “not to be missed raw” recipes, so, I decided to do it. I’m not going full-on raw vegan or anything, I want to add some more raw dishes to what I am eating.

First, I searched for some easy recipes. I am not a chef, I just don’t want anything complicated. I found a few that looked manageable.
My Raw Food Experiment
I started with a simple raw “zucchini noodle” salad. Here’s what I did:
- I grabbed a zucchini from the store.
- I used a vegetable peeler to make long, thin strips – these are the “noodles.”
- I chopped up some tomatoes, and cucumbers.
- I whisked together some olive oil, lemon juice, and some herbs for a basic dressing.
- I tossed everything together.
Honestly, it was pretty good! The zucchini noodles were refreshing, and the dressing gave it a nice flavor,It wasn’t as filling as a regular pasta salad, but it felt way healthier, and I want to eat more healthy.
Next, I tried making a raw soup.
I found a recipe for a chilled avocado soup.
This is how I made it:
- I blended some ripe avocados, some water, lime juice, and cilantro.
- I add some salt and pepper.
- I blended again.
It looked a bit like green goo, but it tasted surprisingly creamy and delicious.

I’m glad, because I love avocado. I added some chopped tomatoes on top for some extra texture.
The Results
I’ve been eating these raw meals for a few days now, and I have to say, I feel pretty good.I feel…lighter, somehow.I’m sleeping better.I’m not sure if it’s all in my head, but I do feel a bit more energetic.
I’m definitely going to keep experimenting with raw recipes. Maybe I’ll even try a raw dessert * is so easy to make.I just need to find simple, tasty recipes and go from there.
