Okay, so the other day, I got to wondering about Jimmy Connors. You know, the tennis legend. What’s he actually doing now? It’s easy to remember the playing days, the grit, but life moves on, right?

So, my first step was just firing up the computer. Did a real basic search, just his name and “now”. You get the usual stuff first – highlights, age, maybe his career stats. Yeah, knew all that mostly. Still impressive, but not what I was looking for today.
I needed something more current. So, I refined my search a bit. Tried things like “Jimmy Connors recent activities”, “Jimmy Connors news”, “what is Jimmy Connors doing today”. You kinda have to poke around different phrasings.
This is where it got interesting. It didn’t take long to find mentions of a podcast he started. It’s called “Advantage Connors”, apparently he does it with his son, Brett. Okay, that’s something concrete. A podcast host now, huh?
So I dug into that a little more. Looked for summaries or mentions of what he talks about. Seems like he’s still got strong opinions on the current state of tennis, the players, all that. No surprise there, really. Connors always had something to say, always had that fire. It sounds like he brings that same energy to the podcast.
I also scanned through some recent news articles and sports commentary sites. Sometimes he pops up giving his take on big tournaments or specific players. He doesn’t seem to be coaching anyone high-profile right now, or at least it wasn’t obvious from my searching. Mostly seems focused on his commentary and the podcast.
Found some mentions of him appearing at events here and there, sometimes charity things, sometimes tennis-related functions. But the main thing seems to be him sharing his views, especially through his own show.
So, that was my little journey finding out what Jimmy Connors is up to. Wasn’t too hard, honestly. A few searches, a bit of reading. Turns out he’s still very much engaged with tennis, just from the sidelines and behind a microphone now. Good to know he’s still in the mix, sharing that perspective. Pretty straightforward process today.
