Alright, so I wanted to check out the standings for the Dutch Open the other day. Seemed simple enough, right? Just wanted to see who was leading, who was making a move. Fired up the old computer, ready to just pull it up quickly.

First thing, I just typed the obvious into the search bar. You know, “dutch open leaderboard”. Got a bunch of results, naturally. Some looked like news articles, some looked like official tournament pages, maybe. Clicked on what seemed like the main site first.
Finding the actual list wasn’t straightforward.
I ended up clicking around quite a bit. Sometimes you land on a page, and it’s got loads of info, pictures, history, everything but the simple, up-to-date scores list you’re looking for. Found last year’s results easy enough, but this year? Bit more of a dig.
Trying Different Spots
So, I backed out and tried a different link. Maybe a major sports network site? They often have live scores. Found the tournament section, okay, getting closer. But again, navigating their layout took a minute. They had highlights, articles, but the pure leaderboard? Had to look for a specific ‘scores’ or ‘standings’ tab.
Eventually, I did land on a page that seemed to have what I needed. It looked like a proper leaderboard, updating, well, maybe not live-live, but recent enough. Took more clicks than I expected, honestly. You’d think for a big event, they’d stick the leaderboard right on the front page, big and bold.
- Checked official site first – tricky navigation.
- Tried general sports news sites – better, but still needed searching within the site.
- Looked for dedicated golf score sites – sometimes these are the quickest.
It wasn’t rocket science, obviously, but it just felt a bit clunky. Spent a good few minutes just trying to get that basic info. Maybe I clicked the wrong links initially, who knows. But I got there in the end, saw the scores. Just a bit of a runaround to get a simple list. That was my little adventure tracking the Dutch Open leaderboard this time around.
