So, I decided to dive into the player stats for that 76ers against the Golden State Warriors matchup recently. Been meaning to see who did what, you know? Just curious how things played out on the stat sheet.

First thing I did was grab my tablet. Usually, I just check my favorite sports app, it’s quicker. Opened it up, navigated through the usual menus. You know how it is, tap tap tap. Found the NBA section, then the schedule, had to scroll back a bit to find the specific game. Took a second, sometimes the interface feels a bit clunky.
Getting Down to the Numbers
Alright, found the game recap. The main screen just gives you the final score, which I already knew, obviously. What I wanted was the box score, the real details. Had to tap on another tab, usually labelled ‘Box Score’ or ‘Stats’. There it was.
Then the scrolling started. You get the starters first, then the bench players for each team. I went straight to the Sixers side. Needed to see how Embiid did, naturally. Found his line – points, rebounds, assists. Pretty standard stuff, checked his minutes played too. Then I looked for Maxey’s stats, seeing how he contributed.
After checking the main guys for Philly, I scrolled over or down (depending on the app layout, sometimes it’s side-by-side, sometimes one after the other) to the Warriors side. Same process, really.
- Checked Curry’s points, of course. Always gotta see his three-pointers made.
- Looked at Klay Thompson’s performance.
- Scanned through the rest of the main contributors, like Draymond Green, looking at rebounds, assists, maybe turnovers or fouls.
I spent a bit of time just comparing. You know, looking at field goal percentages, seeing who shot well and who had an off night. It’s interesting to see the raw numbers after watching or hearing about the game. Sometimes the stats tell a slightly different story, or highlight something you missed.
Finding the team totals was the next step. Stuff like total team rebounds, assists, turnovers. Gives you a picture of the overall team play beyond individual performances. Checked the free throw percentages too, sometimes games swing on those.
Didn’t do anything too fancy, no deep analysis this time. Just wanted a solid look at the basic player-by-player breakdown. Took maybe 10-15 minutes in total? Just satisfying that curiosity about who performed and who didn’t show up as much in the numbers for that particular game. That was pretty much it, got the info I was looking for. Straightforward stuff.
