So, I found myself watching some football highlights the other day, and there’s Andy Reid again, looking calm as ever on the sidelines. Got me thinking, you know? The guy’s been coaching for what feels like forever, and he’s had a ton of success, especially lately.

It really got my wheels turning about his Super Bowl rings. Like, how many has he actually racked up over the years? I remember him being with the Eagles for a long time, then moving over to the Chiefs. Seemed like a good time to just sit down and sort it out for myself, piece together his journey through the big game.
My Little Digging Session
First thing I did was just try and recall from memory. Okay, definitely Chiefs, right? They’ve been in the Super Bowl a lot recently. So I started there. I pulled up the recent Super Bowl winners.
- Chiefs, 2020 (Super Bowl LIV): Yep, that was his first one as a head coach. Remember that game against the 49ers.
- Chiefs, 2023 (Super Bowl LVII): Got another one against his old team, the Eagles. That felt like a big storyline.
- Chiefs, 2024 (Super Bowl LVIII): And then the most recent one, back-to-back against the 49ers again.
Okay, so that’s three championship rings just as the head honcho for Kansas City. Pretty impressive stuff right there. Made me wonder if that was the whole story.
Then I remembered way, way back. Before Philly, before KC. Wasn’t he with the Packers during their successful run in the 90s? Had to check that one out too. A quick search confirmed it. He was an assistant coach, working with quarterbacks I think, under Mike Holmgren back when Green Bay won Super Bowl XXXI against the Patriots. So, technically, he’s got a connection to that win and likely got a ring from that time too.
Putting it all Together
So, after poking around and refreshing my memory, it looks like Andy Reid’s got his hands on four Super Bowl rings in total throughout his NFL coaching career.
Three came as the head coach leading the Chiefs, which is what most people probably think of now. But you can’t forget that earlier one he earned as an assistant with the Packers. It’s quite a journey when you lay it all out. Just satisfying a bit of curiosity, really, tracing back the steps of a coach who’s become such a fixture in the league.
