Alright, listen up, y’all. Let’s talk about this Necaxa versus Puebla game, or whatever they call it. Football, soccer, it’s all the same to me. Kicking a ball around, trying to get it in that net thingy. Sounds simple enough, but these fellas make a big fuss about it.
So, I heard some folks talking, saying Necaxa’s got a better chance of winning. Like, 55.6% or somethin’. Now, I ain’t no mathematician, but that sounds like they’re more likely to win than Puebla, who’s only got a 23.2% chance. See? Even an old lady like me can figure that out. It’s like saying if you got 10 apples, and I got 4, you got more. Plain and simple.
They’re playing this game on Saturday, July 13th, I think. And it’s late, like 11 PM. Who in their right mind plays a game that late? Probably those young folks who don’t need much sleep. Me? I’m in bed by 9, with a cup of warm milk and my rosary. But these fellas, they’ll be running around, kicking that ball. Bless their hearts.
- They say you can watch it live, on the internet or something. Live stream, they call it. I don’t know about that. I prefer watching things in person, but my old bones ain’t up for traveling to no stadium. Too much noise and commotion for me. I’d rather sit on my porch, watching the chickens peck at the ground. That’s entertainment enough for me.
- And they got all these numbers and stats. H2H, they call it. Head to head, I guess. Like who beat who before. And they got lineups, like who’s playing where. And player ratings, like who’s good and who ain’t. It’s all too much for me. I just want to know who’s gonna win, that’s all.
They’re playing at the Estadio Cuauhtemoc. Sounds fancy, doesn’t it? Probably got a lot of fancy seats and fancy folks. Me? I’m happy with my old rocking chair. It ain’t fancy, but it’s comfortable. And that’s what matters, right? Comfort.
Now, some folks are saying that neither team is gonna score much. Like, it’ll be a low-scoring game. They call it “both teams to not score.” I guess that means it might be a boring game, huh? No goals, no excitement. Just a bunch of fellas running around, kicking a ball for nothin’. Sounds like a waste of time to me, but hey, what do I know? I’m just an old lady.
But these fellas, they take it real serious. They got predictions and expert tips and all that. They look at the history and the home games and the away games and the tables. It’s like they’re trying to solve a puzzle, only the puzzle is a bunch of grown men kicking a ball. I tell ya, young folks these days have too much time on their hands.
So, what’s my prediction? Well, I ain’t no expert, but if Necaxa’s got a better chance, then I reckon they’ll win. That’s just common sense, ain’t it? It’s like saying if you got more horses, you’re more likely to win the race. Simple as that. But then again, anything can happen in a game, right? That ball can bounce any which way. So, who knows? Maybe Puebla will surprise us all.
Anyway, I hope those fellas have fun, and nobody gets hurt. That’s the most important thing. It’s just a game, after all. Not worth gettin’ all worked up over. There’s more important things in life, like family and friends and a good cup of coffee in the morning. And maybe a little bit of sunshine on your face. That’s all you really need, ain’t it?
So, there you have it. My two cents on this Necaxa versus Puebla thing. Take it or leave it. I’m just an old lady, speaking my mind. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go feed my chickens. They’re probably getting hungry. And that’s a whole lot more important than some silly football game.
