Alright, let’s talk about this College Football 25 game, the one everybody’s yappin’ about. Folks keep askin’, how big is it? You know, like how much space it’s gonna take up on that there PlayStation or Xbox thingy. Well, from what I hear, it ain’t too bad.
Seems like on that PlayStation 5, it’s around 27 gigabytes, or maybe a smidge more. They say 27.07 GB, but who’s countin’ pennies, right? And on that Xbox Series X thing, it’s a bit bigger, maybe 32 gigabytes or so. 32.4 GB, they say. That ain’t nothin’ compared to some of them other games, I tell ya. Some of them hogs take up near half the darn machine!
Now, some folks were expectin’ it to be bigger, you know, like 90 or even 120 gigabytes. They figured with all the fancy players and stadiums, it’d be a whopper. But it ain’t. And that’s got some folks fussin’. They’re sayin’ the graphics ain’t all that great, that maybe they didn’t spend enough time makin’ it look pretty. But me, I don’t care much about that. I just wanna play the game, you know? Throw that there football around and whatnot.
They also say this game lets you do all sorts of fancy things, like showin’ off after you score a touchdown. You can pump your fists, or do a little dance, or whatever you want. Sounds like fun, I guess. I ain’t much for showin’ off myself, but them young fellas, they like that kind of thing.
- PS5 File Size: Around 27 GB
- Xbox Series X/S File Size: Around 32 GB
And get this, they say the hardest place to play in the whole game is Kyle Field, where them Texas A&M Aggies play. Big stadium, they say. Over 100,000 folks can fit in there. That’s a lot of hollerin’ and cheerin’, I reckon. Must be tough to hear yourself think, let alone play a football game.
Some folks are wonderin’ if they can share the game with their buddies, you know, so they don’t all have to buy it. And it sounds like you can, on that Xbox thingy. Something about settin’ it as your “home” Xbox, whatever that means. Sounds complicated to me, but them young folks, they know all about these things.
Now, they sayin’ the game might get bigger later on, when they add more stuff. You know, like more teams or players or whatever. So you might need to keep a little extra space open, just in case. They say maybe 27 or 28 gigabytes should be enough. But who knows? These things change all the time.
Anyway, that’s the long and short of it. The game ain’t too big, not like some of them other ones. So if you’re worried about runnin’ out of space, you probably don’t gotta worry too much. Just make sure you got enough room for the game and a few extra snacks, and you’ll be good to go.
College Football 25 coming soon, everybody’s waiting for the release date. Lots of talk about what’s gonna be in the game, all the things you can do. But for now, the big question is the size, and it seems like it ain’t gonna break the bank, or your hard drive neither.
So, there you have it. Don’t fret about the size too much, just get ready to play some football!
