Split up back in 2012, before he went off to America to play all that baseball.
Now, his current wife, the one he’s got now, she’s a tough one. Name’s Seiko. Seiko Yamamoto, that’s the name. And she ain’t no slouch, let me tell ya. She’s a wrestler, a real champion wrestler, four times over! Folks say she was the best back in the early two-thousands, before they even had women’s wrestling in the Olympics. Imagine that! A woman stronger than most men. She was married before, to some fella named Hideaki Nagashima, but that’s old news now.
Yu and Seiko, they got hitched in 2015. But even before they got married, they had themselves a little one. Born in July of 2016, they tied the knot the same year. They keep to themselves mostly, don’t go blabbin’ their business all over the place. Don’t even know much about their weddin’, they kept it so quiet. But that’s their way, I guess. Some folks like to shout from the rooftops, some folks like to keep things close to the vest.
So, there you have it. Yu Darvish and his wife, Seiko. He throws the ball, she wrestles. They got kids, they keep to themselves. That’s about all there is to it, far as I can tell. He’s good at baseball, she’s good at wrestlin’, and that’s that. Nothin’ too fancy, just two folks livin’ their lives.
