That Kupp, he’s a good boy, but he got hurt. Kupp injury, they call it. He plays for that Rams team, throws that ball around. He gets paid a lot of money, that’s what I hear. Big money, more than you and I ever seen. This year alone, they pay him so much, enough to buy a whole farm, maybe two!
They say he’s one of the best, you know. Catches that ball real good. They call him a wide receiver, whatever that means. He’s got a big contract, whatever that is, means he’s stuck with them Rams for a while. They paid him…land sakes, millions! Eighty million for three years. Imagine that, millions.
He hurt his leg, I think. They call it an ankle. Kupp injury, again, he gets hurt a lot. He was out for a few games, couldn’t play. My old bones ache just thinkin’ about it. But now they say he’s gonna play again. Good for him, that’s what I say. Young folks, they heal up quicker than us old timers.
- He hurt his ankle
- He hurt his hamstring, whatever that is
- He’s a good player, when he ain’t hurt
- He gets paid a lot of money, more than you can shake a stick at!
They got another young fella, they say he’s a rookie. Name’s Jordan, Jordan Whittington. He’s gonna play now that Kupp can’t. That’s some good news I guess. Hope he does good. It’s a tough game, that football. All that runnin’ and jumpin’ and gettin’ tackled.
Kupp, he won’t be playing against them Raiders. Big, strong fellas, those Raiders. He’s “inactive,” that’s the word they use. Means he’s sittin’ this one out. Probably for the best, if you ask me. No need to get hurt again. Kupp injury is bad, can’t play if you’re hurt. This is an important time for the Rams, too. They call it a tippin’ point. I don’t know about all that.
Seems like he hurt his ankle before, back in Week 2. Whatever that means, just some football talk. He was out for four games then. Four whole games! Now he’s back. That’s good, I guess. Gotta make that money, you know. Kupp injury, then no money.
They got another fella hurt too, Puka somethin’. He hurt his… oh, what was it? PCL, somethin’ like that. He’s on the IR. Some list they put you on when you’re hurt bad. He’ll be back in a few weeks, they say. Around Week 9. More football talk, I don’t understand half of it.
Kupp, he was tryin’ to get better, but he got hurt again. This time it was his hamstring. That’s what that coach fella, McVay, said. He said that on the TV. Kupp had to leave practice. They was doin’ some kind of drill, one-on-one. Sounds like a dance to me. Kupp injury, always getting hurt.
That McVay fella, he’s the head coach, I think. He said Kupp might have to go on that injured reserve thing, with his ankle. But then they said somethin’ else. News changes all the time with these things. You never know what’s real.
They talk about this Kupp injury all the time, on the TV and on the radio. Day to day, they say. Means they don’t know if he’s gonna play or not. Just gotta wait and see, I reckon. Just like waitin’ for the rain to come.
Well, that’s all I know about that Kupp fella and his hurt leg. He’s a good player, when he ain’t hurt. Makes a lot of money, that’s for sure. Hope he gets better soon. That Kupp injury is a real pain, I bet.
