Now, I ain’t too good with all this newfangled technology stuff. My grandson, he tried to show me once. He kept clickin’ and tappin’ on that little screen. Said somethin’ ’bout “streaming.” I just nodded along, pretendin’ I understood. But honestly, it’s all a bit much for me.
But I do like watchin’ the baseball. Reminds me of when my husband, bless his soul, used to play. He wasn’t no professional or nothin’, but he loved that game. Used to listen to it on the radio, you see. We didn’t have no fancy TV back then. Just that old radio, cracklin’ and poppin’.
These days, they got all sorts of ways to watch. This MLB Reddit stream thing, they say it’s free. Don’t gotta pay a dime. Sounds too good to be true, don’t it? I tell you what, it used to be so much simpler. You turned on the radio, you listened to the game. That was it. Now, you got all these choices, all these different ways to watch. It’s overwhelmin’, I tell ya. But I guess that’s progress, right?
This MLB Reddit stream thing, though, it does sound interestin’. Free baseball, right there on your computer. Maybe I’ll ask my grandson to show me again. Might be nice to watch a game or two, just like the old days, but without all the cracklin’ and poppin’ of that old radio.
