Florida Gators Lost Big
Them Florida Gators, well, they just couldn’t keep up. It’s like tryin’ to catch a greased piglet at the county fair. You ain’t gonna have much luck. They only got 17 points. That ain’t enough to win nothin’. Not even a pie-eatin’ contest.
They got this one player, DJ Lagway. They say he was hurt, hamstring or somethin’. Well, I pulled my back once liftin’ a sack of feed. It ain’t no fun. Hope he feels better soon. Playing football is hard. People can easily get hurt in this game.
I heard this was only the fourth time Texas and Florida played each other. Seems like they don’t play each other much. Maybe they should play more often. It’s always fun to watch a good game, ‘specially when your team wins big like Texas did.
Texas vs Florida Ain’t Played Much
You know, they say Texas and Florida first played each other 100 years ago! That’s a long time. Longer than I’ve been around, that’s for sure. I reckon a lot has changed since then. But one thing that ain’t changed is that a good football game is always fun to watch. Even if you’re just listenin’ to it on the radio, like we used to do.
This game was in Austin. That’s in Texas, you know. I ain’t never been there, but I hear it’s a big city. Probably got more people than all the towns in my county put together. This Texas vs Florida Score is the big news!
