That Petr Yan, he’s a tough one, ain’t he? And this Song Yadong, he’s no slouch neither. I hear they gonna be fighting. UFC 299, that’s what they call it. Gonna be a real barn burner, I reckon.
Yan, he’s been the champion before. Lost it, but still, he was the champ. That means something. He’s got that look in his eye, like he ain’t done yet. He’s 17 wins and 5 losses. Ain’t no chump, that’s for sure.

He’s from Russia, that Yan. Cold place, Russia. Makes ’em tough, I guess. They say he’s good. Real good. He fought that O’Malley fella, and lost. And that Sterling, he beat him too. But he got a win against some guy named Sandhagen. I don’t know these folks, but it sounds important.
This Yan, he’s like a little bulldog. He just keeps comin’. I seen some of his fights. He throws them hands like he’s choppin’ wood. Fast, hard. He ain’t afraid to get hit neither. Takes a lickin’ and keeps on tickin’, as they say.

Song Yadong, They Call Him the “Kung Fu Monkey”
Now this Song Yadong, he’s from China. They call him the “Kung Fu Monkey.” Sounds kinda funny, but I guess he’s good at that kung fu stuff. He’s younger than Yan. Born in ’97, they say. He’s got 21 wins, 8 losses, and 1 of somethin’ else, I don’t rightly know what that means. But he’s got more wins than Yan, that’s for sure.
He beat some fella named Vera. And somethin’ about a Stamann, he tied with that one. I don’t know what any of that means, but they got it all written down somewhere, I reckon. He fights in the UFC, just like Yan. That’s the big leagues, ain’t it? Gotta be tough to get there.

This Song fella, he’s quick. Like a cat. I seen him move. He’s all over the place. Jumps around, kicks, punches. He’s a handful, I bet. He’s got somethin’ to prove, this one. He wants to be the best. You can see it in his eyes. He’s hungry.
Who’s Gonna Win?
Well, that’s the big question, ain’t it? Who’s gonna win this fight? Petr Yan vs. Song Yadong. It’s a tough one to call. Yan, he’s got the experience. He’s been there before. He knows what it’s like to be at the top. But Song, he’s young and he’s hungry. He’s got that fire in his belly.
I reckon it’s gonna be a good fight. A real slobberknocker. They both gonna come out swingin’. They both gonna try to knock each other’s heads off. That’s what they do in that UFC. It’s a rough business.
I don’t know who’s gonna win. I ain’t no expert. But I’ll tell you what, I wouldn’t want to be in that cage with either one of them. They both scary. They both mean business.
This UFC Thing, It’s a Big Deal
This UFC, it’s a big deal, ain’t it? Folks all over the world watch it. They got it on the TV and everything. They make a lot of money, these fighters. More money than I ever seen in my life.
They get all beat up, though. Black eyes, broken noses. It’s a tough way to make a livin’. But they seem to like it. They keep comin’ back for more. Must be somethin’ about it that gets in your blood.
I don’t know if I could do it. I’m too old for that kind of stuff. But I can watch it. I can watch Petr Yan and Song Yadong fight. I can see who’s the better man. That’s what it’s all about, ain’t it? Seein’ who’s the best. This is important for UFC 299.
So, yeah, it is gonna be a good fight. This Petr Yan vs Song Yadong is gonna be somethin’. I wouldn’t miss it for the world.
They say this Song Yadong is one to watch. Maybe he beat that Petr Yan, maybe he doesn’t. We just have to see, don’t we? This Flowers guy, he beat Yan before. Maybe this Song Yadong can do it too. It ain’t gonna be easy, though. Yan, he’s like a bad penny, he just keeps turnin’ up.
