Okay, so I was just flipping through some sports stuff the other day, you know, catching up on things.

My eyes landed on some photos of Alex Bregman, the third baseman for the Astros. Pretty solid player, right? Anyway, I noticed something around his neck. It wasn’t super flashy, but it caught my attention.
Leaned in a bit closer to the screen. Took me a second to make it out clearly. It was a necklace, and the pendant looked like a Star of David. Huh, I thought. Didn’t really know much about his personal background before that.
It just struck me. Here’s this big-name athlete, playing on national television, and he’s wearing this symbol. You don’t always see that sort of thing so openly displayed, especially in the thick of a game.
Got me thinking a little. It’s kind of cool when people show pride in where they come from or what they believe in. Doesn’t matter what it is, really. Seeing him wear that Star of David just felt… I don’t know, straightforward. Like, ‘this is part of who I am’.
Didn’t do a deep dive or anything crazy, just observed it, you know? Made a mental note. It’s interesting how you pick up on these little details sometimes. Just part of the human side of these players you see competing all the time.
So yeah, that was my little observation for the day. Alex Bregman and his Star of David necklace. Something I noticed, something I thought about for a minute. Just sharing what I saw.
