Okay, so I’ve been wanting to spice up my golf game, and what better way than with some custom kicks? I’m a huge Jordan fan, and I thought, “Why not combine my love for Jordans with my golf obsession?” So, I embarked on this little project to make my own custom Jordan golf shoes.

The Hunt for the Base
First things first, I needed a pair of Jordans that I was willing to, you know, modify. I didn’t want to sacrifice a super rare pair, so I went hunting for something readily available. I ended up grabbing a pair of Jordan 1 Lows – classic, clean, and perfect for this project.
Getting the Golf Gear
Next up, the golf part! I found these golf spikes online that you can actually screw into the soles of regular shoes. Seemed simple enough, right? Spoiler alert: It kinda was, but it also took some serious elbow grease.
Putting it All Together
- I started marking exactly where I wanted the spikes to go on the bottom of the shoes. I made sure to leave a decent amount of space between the front of the shoe to make sure I could rotate my feet when making a golf swing.
- Then came the scary part – drilling! I used a small drill bit to make pilot holes where I marked. I went super slow to avoid messing up the soles.
- Once the holes were ready, I started screwing in the golf spikes. This took some serious hand strength, let me tell you. I had to really push and twist to get them securely in.
The Finished Product
After a bit of sweating and maybe a few curse words, I had my custom Jordan golf shoes! They looked pretty awesome, if I do say so myself. I was a little worried about how they’d hold up on the course, but they felt surprisingly sturdy.
First time on the course, so many people were giving me compliments and asking where I bought them. They turned out to be a bigger success than I thought!
All in all, a pretty fun DIY project. It took a bit of work, but it was totally worth it to have some unique, personalized golf shoes. Now, whether they actually improve my golf game… that’s a whole other story.
