Okay, so today I decided to dive into the world of sports predictions, specifically for the Blue Jays vs. Padres game. I gotta say, it’s a whole different beast than what I usually do, but hey, gotta try new things, right?

Getting Started
First things first, I needed some data. I mean, I couldn’t just pull a prediction out of thin air. So, I started digging around. Looked at recent game results for both teams, you know, wins, losses, that sort of stuff.
Then I checked out how they’ve performed against each other historically. Head-to-head records can sometimes give you a little insight, or at least I hoped so!
Checking Player Stats
After getting a feel for the teams, I figured I should probably look at individual players. Who’s hot right now? Who’s in a slump? Injuries? suspensions?
I spent a good chunk of time scrolling through player stats, and I wrote some player status which are on hot or cold.
Trying to Find Patterns
With all this info, I started looking for any kind of pattern or trend. Like, do the Blue Jays always struggle against left-handed pitchers? Do the Padres crush it at home?
Honestly, It took a little longer than I expected.
Making the Prediction
After all that research, it was time to, you know, actually make a prediction. It felt a bit like throwing a dart at a board, but at least it was an informed dart throw.

So, drumroll please… Based on my incredibly scientific and totally-not-random process, I will prediction the final winner.
I have to predict that Blue Jays will beat Padres today!
