Man, you won’t believe the rabbit hole I fell down today. I was looking up some old wrestling stuff, and it got me thinking about Bo Dallas and Bray Wyatt. For those who don’t know, these guys are brothers in real life, and they both wrestled for WWE.
So, I started digging into it. Bray Wyatt, sadly, passed away, but before that, he and Bo started working together. It was wild! Bray had this whole Uncle Howdy character going on, which, by the way, was based on some character from an old movie called “Hysterical”. Turns out, Bo Dallas was the one playing Uncle Howdy! I mean, who would have guessed?
I spent hours reading about it. They started this storyline, or “program” as they call it, in December 2022. Uncle Howdy was supposed to be part of Bray’s feuds with some other wrestlers, LA Knight and Bobby Lashley. It was all building up to WrestleMania 40. I mean, this stuff is like a soap opera for guys!
My Deep Dive into Bo and Bray
- Started by just wanting to reminisce about old wrestling days.
- Got sidetracked by the Bo Dallas and Bray Wyatt connection.
- Discovered that Bo played Bray’s Uncle Howdy character.
- Read a bunch of articles about their storyline together.
- Learned that the Uncle Howdy character was based on a movie character.
- Realized how intricate and planned out these wrestling storylines are.
Now, I read some people were criticizing it, saying WWE was exploiting Bray’s memory or something. But from what I gathered, Bo is really proud to be honoring his brother’s legacy like this. I can get behind that. Family is family, right?
It also got me thinking about the wrestling world in general. These guys, they’re not just playing characters in the ring. They have real relationships behind the scenes. Like, I read that Bray Wyatt was close friends with Braun Strowman and Randy Orton, even though they were rivals on screen. It’s a whole other world!
Anyway, that was my day. Just diving deep into the world of wrestling and the story of two brothers, Bo Dallas and Bray Wyatt. It was way more interesting and emotional than I expected. Makes you appreciate the people behind the characters a little more, you know?
