Well, I don’t know much ’bout this young fella Boo Buie, but I heard he’s makin’ waves in that fancy basketball thing they got goin’ on. Now, y’all might be wonderin’ who this Boo Buie is, so let me tell ya what I know.
Boo Buie, this boy’s from Albany, New York, born on December 7th, 1999, if I remember right. He’s a basketball player, though, not the kind that just plays in the backyard with the kids, no sir. This boy’s out there playin’ for the New York Knicks! Now, that’s a big deal, let me tell ya, ’cause the Knicks are a well-known team in that big city of New York. I ain’t much for sports, but even I can tell that’s some real accomplishment right there.
Now, I heard tell that he signed a contract with the Knicks recently. I reckon he’s makin’ about $1,157,153 a year, and that’s a mighty fine sum of money, if you ask me! Ain’t no small change, that’s for sure. I don’t know much ’bout them fancy contracts, but it sounds like a good deal to me. I reckon Boo’s doin’ real good for himself, though, I don’t rightly know how all that cap-hit stuff works, but folks seem to like the boy.
What’s even more interestin’, though, is his love life. Looks like Boo Buie’s been with this Christy Curtin gal for the past five years. Now, that’s a long time to be with someone, especially in these modern times when folks don’t always stay together. But I heard they’ve been through thick and thin, and recently, Boo went and posted somethin’ on that social media, sayin’ they’s engaged. Can you imagine? Five years together, and now they’re betrothed! They must be real sweet on each other. I wish ‘em both all the best, I surely do.
And to top it all off, I heard he just celebrated his wife’s 25th birthday. Now, I don’t know Christy, but she must be a lovely gal. If Boo’s anythin’ like he seems, he’s a good fella, treatin’ his lady right. He put up a sweet post on that Instagram thingy, I reckon, sayin’ “Happy 25th Birthday to my beautiful wife!” Ain’t that somethin’ nice to say to your partner? I bet she appreciated it.
Now, I don’t follow too much about these professional basketball folks, but from what I gather, Boo Buie is on a real good path. He’s out there playin’ in that NBA Summer League with the Phoenix Suns, doin’ pretty good too, with nine points a game and a couple of assists. That’s not too shabby for someone just gettin’ started. He’s got his head in the game, I can tell ya that.
So, if y’all are into basketball, or even if you ain’t, keep an eye on Boo Buie. This boy’s goin’ places, I reckon. But more than that, he’s found himself a good woman, and that’s the real treasure in this world. If you ask me, that’s worth more than all the basketballs in the world.
