Okay, so the other day I was trying to remember all the times Ohio State won the national championship in football. I knew there were a bunch, but I couldn’t quite put my finger on all the years.
Digging Through the Years
First, I grabbed my phone and started searching. It took a bit of scrolling, but I finally found some solid info. I wanted to be absolutely sure, so I checked a couple of different websites to make sure everything lined up.
Turns out, it’s a pretty impressive list! I made myself a little note to keep track:
- 1942 – I vaguely remembered hearing about this one.
- 1954 – This one was a bit before my time, for sure.
- 1957 – Getting into a good streak here.
- 1961 – Wow, another one!
- 1968 – My dad probably remembers this one clearly.
- 1970 – Starting to see a pattern.
- 2002 – I definitely remember this one! It was a big deal.
- 2014 – The most recent one, and what a game that was!
After I listed them all out, I felt pretty good. It’s cool to see all those years and think about all the amazing games and players that were part of those championship teams. I even spent some time looking up some of the old game highlights – super fun!
