Hey everyone, it’s your boy back again with another wild story from my life. So, I’ve been hyped about this Canelo vs. Charlo fight for a while now. I mean, Canelo, the pound-for-pound king, taking on Jermell Charlo, the undisputed junior middleweight champ? Sign me up!
First thing’s first, I started looking into how to actually watch this thing. It’s on September 30th, 2023, so I marked that date on my calendar with a big red circle. I found out it’s a pay-per-view event, which, yeah, not my favorite, but for a fight like this, I figured it’s worth it. I saw it was going to cost around $84.99, which is a bit steep, but hey, it’s Canelo!
Next up, tickets. I dreamed about being there in person at the T-Mobile Arena. I checked out some sites and it was a bit confusing, I gotta admit. Prices were all over the place depending on where you wanted to sit. But man, the idea of being there live, feeling the energy of the crowd, it was tempting.
I spent a good chunk of time just reading up on Canelo and Charlo. Canelo’s this massive star, not just in boxing but he’s even got his own promotion company, Canelo Promotions, mostly doing stuff in Mexico. Charlo, on the other hand, he’s from Louisiana and he’s been holding titles since 2016. The dude’s a beast in his own right.
Here’s how I finally decided to go about it:
- Watched the Fight: I ended up getting the PPV. It was easy enough to purchase it, and I set up a whole thing at home with snacks and drinks.
- Followed the News: I kept up with all the pre-fight drama and predictions. It added to the excitement, you know?
- Enjoyed the Show: The fight night was amazing. The atmosphere, even through the screen, was electric. The match itself was crazy.
In the end, I’m really glad I didn’t miss out on this fight. It was a big deal in the boxing world, and experiencing it, even from my living room, was awesome. The whole process, from figuring out how to watch it to getting totally engrossed in the fight itself, was a blast. If you’re into boxing, or even just big sporting events, this was one for the books. Definitely a memorable experience for me, and I’m already looking forward to the next big fight!
