Now, his dad used to play tennis and coach it, so he knew a thing or two about the game. And his mom, well, she worked at IKEA, which is pretty cool. It’s just your normal, everyday kind of family.

Here’s where it gets interesting. Carlos, or “Carlitos” as his family calls him, started playing tennis when he was just four. Yeah, four years old! His dad ran a tennis academy at this club called Real Sociedad Club de Campo de Murcia, so little Carlos was basically born on the court.
