Today I wanted to look into something that’s been on my mind for a while – who’s gonna win between Carlos Alcaraz and Daniil Medvedev in their upcoming match. I’ve been following these two players for some time now, and their matches are always a blast to watch.
So, I started digging into their past games. First, I pulled up their head-to-head record. From what I found, they’ve played each other 7 times before. Out of those 7 matches, Alcaraz has won 5 and Medvedev has won 2. That’s a pretty solid lead for Alcaraz, but you never know, right? Medvedev is a tough cookie.
Next, I looked at some recent predictions. I checked out a couple of sports websites, and they all seem to be talking about the same thing. I don’t know if this is helpful. But, anyway, one website mentioned that Alcaraz leads Medvedev 5-2 in their matchups. Another article used some kind of fancy computer program to predict the match outcome, running it 10,000 times! That’s wild.
I also found some odds for the match. It looks like Alcaraz is favored to win, at least according to the bookies. They have him at -350 odds, which, if I understand correctly, means you’d have to bet 350 to win 100. I’m not a betting man, but those odds do suggest that Alcaraz is considered the stronger player in this matchup.
After gathering all this info, I tried to make my own prediction. This is tough, because both players are so good! But, based on their past performance and the odds, I’m leaning towards Alcaraz winning this one.

Of course, this is just my guess. Tennis is unpredictable, and anything can happen on the court. But I thought it would be fun to share my process and see what you guys think. Who do you think will win between Alcaraz and Medvedev? Let me know in the comments!
