Alright, folks, let’s dive into my little adventure with Keldon Johnson’s stats. It all started when I was trying to, you know, get a better grip on his performance this season. So, I figured, why not track his stats myself? I’m no expert, but I like to think I know a thing or two about basketball.

Getting Started
First things first, I needed a place to start. I mean, sure, there are tons of websites out there, but I wanted something I could control. So, I decided to grab a simple notepad.
I opened the notepad and made a few simple columns: Date, Opponent, Points, Rebounds, Assists – you know, the basics. Figured I’d keep it simple at first. Didn’t want to get overwhelmed.
The Process
Every game day, or the morning after, I went to check the box score. It took a little while.I manually input the numbers into my notepad. Yeah, it’s old school, but it worked for me. I like seeing the numbers build up game by game. It’s like, you’re watching his season unfold, one stat line at a time.!
- Find the game.
- Open the box score.
- Write down the numbers.
- Repeat.
Keeping it Going
It wasn’t always easy, I gotta admit. Some days I was busy, or I just plain forgot. But, I tried to stay consistent.I keep doing it.I even started adding a few more stats, like field goal percentage and three-pointers made. Just to get a little more detail.!
What I’ve Noticed
After doing this for a while, I started to see some patterns. It’s like, when he plays against certain teams, he tends to score more. Or, when he’s getting more rebounds, his team seems to win more often. It’s pretty cool to see that stuff emerge from the numbers.
It’s not rocket science, but it’s been a fun little project. It’s helped me appreciate Keldon Johnson’s game a bit more, and it’s given me something to do during the season. Plus, it’s kind of satisfying to look back at all those numbers and know that I tracked them myself.
