Alright, so the other day I was going down a rabbit hole of old NBA stuff, and I got to thinking about the 2002 Cleveland Cavaliers. Man, those were some rough years for the Cavs, but I always find it interesting to look back at these rosters from way back when.

First thing I did was try to just remember who was even on that team. I could picture Ricky Davis, and I knew Zydrunas Ilgauskas was there, but beyond that? Total blank. So, I hit up the internet to find the full roster.
It was kinda funny, seeing all these names I hadn’t thought about in years. I mean, you got your guys like:
- Ricky Davis: I remembered him being a scorer, kind of a flashy player.
- Zydrunas Ilgauskas: “Big Z”! The big man in the middle.
- Andre Miller: If I think about, Andre Miller still played at that team.
- DeSagana Diop
- Carlos Boozer
I spent a good chunk of time just looking at the stats for that season. They were…not good. The Cavs were one of the worst teams in the league. It’s wild to think about how much the NBA has changed since then, too. The style of play, the rules, everything.
I ended up watching some old game highlights on *’s fun to go back and watch these old games with a fresh * see things you didn’t notice back then.
Anyway, that was my little trip down memory lane with the 2002 Cavs. Not the most glamorous team, but it’s always fun to dig into these historical rosters and see what you can rediscover.
