Okay, so, I’ve been totally obsessed with Conor McGregor lately, you know? I mean, who isn’t? The guy’s a total legend in the octagon, but what really got me hooked was his style. Seriously, the man knows how to dress. So, I decided to do a little experiment and try to dress like him for a week.
Day 1: The Beginning
I started by doing some research. I watched a bunch of his interviews and looked at tons of pictures. One thing I noticed right away is that Conor loves his custom-made suits. Since I don’t have a tailor on speed dial, I decided to focus on his more casual looks, which, to be honest, are still pretty sharp. I found he has a fighting style and dress style. I found some styles about suits and casual outfits.
Day 2: Shopping Spree
I hit up a few stores to try and find some clothes that matched Conor’s style. It wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be. I ended up getting a beige polo, some grey sweatpants, and a few other things that I thought he might wear. Oh, and I also got a pair of dress shoes that looked similar to the ones he wears.
Day 3: First Try
I put on the beige polo and grey sweatpants, and I have to say, I didn’t hate it. It was actually pretty comfortable, and I felt kind of stylish, in a relaxed way. I wore this outfit to go get coffee, and I definitely got a few looks. I think people were wondering why I was dressed like a famous fighter, haha.
Day 4: Breaking the Rules
Conor is known for being a rule breaker, both in and out of the octagon. So, I decided to mix and match some of the pieces I bought. I paired the dress shoes with a more casual outfit, and it actually worked. I felt like I was channeling my inner Conor – confident and a little bit rebellious.
Day 5: The Walk
You can’t talk about Conor McGregor without mentioning his walk. I tried to imitate it, but I just ended up looking like a goofball. I guess some things are better left to the professionals. I don’t know who really created that walk, but that’s his now.
Day 6: Feeling the Vibe
By this point, I was really starting to feel like I was getting into the Conor McGregor mindset. I felt more confident, more assertive, and definitely more stylish. I even started using some of his catchphrases, which was probably a bit much, but hey, I was committed.
Day 7: Conclusion
Dressing like Conor McGregor for a week was a fun experiment. I learned that his style is all about confidence and not being afraid to stand out. While I don’t think I’ll be wearing beige polos and grey sweatpants every day, I definitely picked up a few style tips that I’ll be using in the future. Also, I tried some dress shoes, such as August McGregor. And maybe, just maybe, I’ll even try to master his walk someday. If I could be like Conor McGregor, I must have a good command of boxing and karate, but that is another story.
What I Wore:
- Beige Polo
- Grey Sweatpants
- Dress Shoes
- Various other pieces inspired by Conor’s style
Would I do it again? Probably not for a whole week, but I had a blast, and I think I looked pretty good, if I do say so myself!
