Alright, so the other day I found myself wondering about Cam Newton’s kids. You know, you see him on TV or online, and sometimes the family stuff comes up. I got curious about how many kids he actually has and how old they are now. So, I decided to do a little digging myself.
First thing I did, pretty standard stuff, just hopped on my computer and punched “cam newton children’s ages” into the search bar. Right away, a bunch of articles and bits popped up. It wasn’t super clear-cut at first, gotta be honest. Lots of names floating around.
My Digging Process
I saw mentions of kids with Kia Proctor, who he was with for a long time. Then I saw mentions of another child, maybe with someone else? It got a bit confusing. So, I had to refine my search a bit. I started looking specifically for info about his kids with Kia Proctor.
That helped narrow things down. I started seeing names like Chosen, Sovereign-Dior, Camidas, and Cashmere. Okay, four kids there. Then I saw mentions that Kia also had an older daughter, Shakira, from before Cam, but that he treats her like his own. That’s cool.
But I still remembered seeing stuff about another kid. So, I searched around again, maybe something like “Cam Newton other children” or looking into his relationship after Kia. That led me to La Reina Shaw and their son, Caesar. And similar to Kia’s situation, La Reina Shaw also had a son from a previous relationship, Jaden, who Cam also seems to be raising. So, that makes seven kids he considers his own.
Finding the exact ages took another round of looking. You know how celebrity stuff is, sometimes birth dates are kept private, but you can usually find the birth year or month.
Here’s What I Pieced Together
After poking around various news reports and gossip sites (you know the drill), here’s the list I put together based on reported birth times. Keep in mind, exact birthdays aren’t always public, so these are based on reported months/years:
- Shakira: She’s Kia’s older daughter, so she’d be the eldest. Didn’t find an exact year easily, but definitely older than the others.
- Jaden: He’s La Reina Shaw’s older son. Again, older than the kids Cam had biologically.
- Chosen Sebastian Newton: Born around late December 2015.
- Sovereign-Dior Cambella Newton: Born around February 2017.
- Camidas Swain Newton: Born around July 2018.
- Caesar Lorenzo Newton: Born around Summer 2019 (with La Reina Shaw).
- Cashmere Saint Newton: Born around December 2019 (with Kia Proctor).
So yeah, that’s the rundown I came up with. It took a bit more clicking around than I first thought, mainly because of the different relationships and the step-children he raises as his. But it seems like he’s got a full house with seven kids he’s responsible for. Quite the family.
