Okay, so I wanted to spice up my ESPN Fantasy league this year. You know, make it a little more interesting, add some bragging rights beyond just the usual cash prize. I decided to look into getting some custom trophies made.
Getting Started: The Idea
First, I brainstormed some ideas. Did I want a classic trophy? Something funny? Maybe something related to a running joke in our league? I spent a good hour just jotting down random thoughts and looking at some examples online.
Finding a Solution
I looked around the ESPN Fantasy App but i didn’t find what i was looking for, It’s mainly about setting up the league, drafting, and all that stuff. I realized I needed to go outside of ESPN to get this done.
The Design Process
Because I couldn’t find anything in the App. I decided to look for some websites that allow you to create your own trophy.
I did some research about it.
- I checked out some general trophy shops online. Many had some decent standard options, but nothing that really screamed “fantasy football champion.”
- I even considered going the DIY route, maybe hitting up a craft store and trying to put something together myself. But honestly, I’m not that crafty, and I wanted something that looked at least semi-professional.
The Final Result
After the design, it was just a matter of waiting for them to arrive. It was gonna take around some days.
Man, it was a total hit. Everyone in the league loved them. It really added an extra layer of fun and competition. Totally worth the effort!
