Well, howdy there! Let’s talk about them minor league stadiums in MLB The Show 24. I ain’t no fancy gamer, ya hear? Just an ol’ gal who likes watchin’ the young’uns play ball. And lemme tell ya, this game, it’s got a whole bunch of ’em fields.
Now, they say there’s somethin’ like 82 ballparks in that game. That’s a heap of places to swing a bat, ain’t it? Thirty of ’em are the big league ones, the fancy ones you see on TV. But we’re here for the small fries, the minor league stadiums. They got 28 of those.
I reckon that’s a good start, but it could always be more, couldn’t it? They could put more in there, they could add them all in there and have a big long list of all the small parks, don’t you think? That would make a lot of people happy, maybe make some people angry too, if their small park ain’t in there. Can’t please everyone, that’s the truth.
You know, it’s kinda like watchin’ the kids grow up. They start out in these small towns, playin’ in these little stadiums. Then, if they’re good enough, they get to the big show. But these minor league parks, they’re special. They got character, you know? Some of ’em got funny fences, some got short porches. Makes for some excitin’ games, let me tell ya.
I heard some folks complainin’, sayin’ they can’t make their own stadiums in the game. Or download ’em. Nope, you gotta play with what they give ya. But that’s alright. Sometimes it’s good to just enjoy the game, not fuss with all that fancy stuff.
- They got all the real MLB players, the big shots.
- And they got the real MLB stadiums, too, all shiny and new.
- But they also got the minor league fellas, the ones still learnin’ the ropes.
- And they got those minor league stadiums, each one a little bit different.
It ain’t just about watchin’ the games, though. In this here game, you get to be the boss man. You pick the players, you train ’em, you sign the free agents, you even hire the folks who sell the hot dogs, I reckon. It’s a whole lot of responsibility, but it’s fun. You get to feel like you’re runnin’ the whole shebang.
Now, I ain’t got no fancy PlayStation or Xbox. I just watch the young’uns play it. But from what I see, it looks like a real hoot. You can play it on any of them newfangled machines, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, the Xbox One, or that Series X|S thingamajig. So, no matter what you got, you can play.
And that’s really all there is to it. They got a bunch of stadiums, most of ‘em real, some of ‘em not so much. You get to play manager, run the team, and have a good ol’ time. It ain’t perfect, mind you. Like I said, some folks want more stadiums, or the ability to make their own, maybe in the future they’ll get that stuff. But for now, it’s a pretty good game, especially if you like seein’ them young fellas playin’ ball in them minor league ballparks.
So, if you’re lookin’ for a game where you can experience the whole baseball life, from the small towns to the big cities, then MLB The Show 24 might just be the ticket. Just remember, it ain’t all about the fancy stuff. Sometimes, the best games are played in the smallest stadiums, where the players are hungry and the fans are loud. And that’s the truth, y’all.
MLB The Show 24 Minor League Stadiums ain’t perfect, but they are a whole lot of fun to play in. It gives you a chance to see what it is like for the young’uns to start out, before they hit the big time. And that’s a good thing in my book.
But, I am just an ol’ lady, what do I know, right? But I do know what I like, and I like seeing them kids run around, playing ball, and this game, it lets me see just a little of that. And I appreciate it.
