Okay, so I heard Chris Rock was gonna be in St. Louis, and I was like, “I gotta go!” I’m a huge fan, ever since “Everybody Hates Chris.” So, first thing I did was jump on my phone and start searching for tickets.

I went through a few different websites. It was kinda annoying, some of them had crazy high prices or were just plain sketchy. I ended up finding some decent seats on one of the bigger, more well-known ticket sites. They weren’t front row, obviously, but hey, I wasn’t trying to break the bank.
The Ticket Hunt
- Started searching online.
- Checked a bunch of different ticket websites.
- Found some that were just too expensive.
- And some of the ticket sellers just seemed off.
- Finally found some decent seats on a reputable site.
After I got the tickets, I texted my buddy, Mark, to see if he wanted to go. He’s also a big Chris Rock fan. Luckily, he was free, so we were all set. Then I started thinking about the logistics.
Getting There
We needed to figure out how we were getting to the show. Mark offered to drive, which was awesome. I checked the venue’s website to see about parking. Seemed like they had a lot, but I also knew it could get packed, so we planned to get there early.
Then I started looking at the showtime.
After all the searching, checking, and purchasing I had done, the final step was to wait. It was more fun than the searching.
Show day! We headed out early, just like we planned. Traffic was surprisingly light, and we found parking pretty easily. We grabbed some snacks, found our seats, and waited for the show to start. The opening act was pretty funny, too, which was a nice bonus.
And then… Chris Rock came on stage! The crowd went wild. He was hilarious, of course. He did a bunch of new material, and some of his classic stuff, too. We were laughing the whole time. Seriously, it was one of the best comedy shows I’ve ever seen.
After the event the night was very satisfactory!
