So, I got curious the other day. You see all these wrestlers popping up in movies now, guys like The Rock and John Cena everywhere. It got me thinking, what about other big names? Specifically, Randy Orton. Has he tried his hand at acting like those guys?

I decided to do a little digging. Wasn’t a big investigation or anything, just sat down and started searching around online. Typed in stuff like “randy orton movies” or “films with randy orton” just to see what would come up. Didn’t really know what to expect, maybe a cameo here or there.
What I Dug Up
Turns out, he has been in a few things, mostly action stuff it seems. Here’s what I remember finding:
- 12 Rounds 2: Reloaded – Yeah, they made a sequel to that Cena movie, but with Orton instead. WWE Studios seemed to be behind this one.
- The Condemned 2 – Another sequel, this time to the Stone Cold movie. Seems like a pattern here, right? WWE Studios again.
- Changeland – This one seemed a bit different, not just a straight-up action flick like the others. Had Seth Green involved.
- That’s What I Am – Saw this listed too, looked like an earlier role, maybe smaller?
So, he definitely gave it a shot. Mostly seemed to be projects linked directly with WWE, putting him in those lead action roles they like doing.
Trying Them Out
Alright, finding them was one thing, watching them was next. I managed to track down 12 Rounds 2: Reloaded pretty easily. Watched it one evening. It was okay, you know? An action movie. Orton played the tough guy role well enough, lots of glaring and looking serious. He handled the action parts fine, which makes sense given his background. Didn’t exactly blow me away with his dramatic range, but it was decent for what it was.
I haven’t gotten around to the others yet. The Condemned 2 feels like it might be more of the same, maybe I’ll watch it if I’m bored. Changeland sounds more interesting because it’s different, but also seems harder to find.
It’s just interesting to see wrestlers try this path. Some really take off, others seem to just do a few projects tied to their main gig. Orton feels more like the latter based on what I found. He’s a massive star in the ring, maybe acting was just a side thing for him. Anyway, that was my little exploration into the films of Randy Orton. Just satisfying some curiosity.
