Okay, so today I wanted to mess around with getting David Montgomery going in my fantasy lineup. I’ve had him on my bench for a few weeks, and I figured it was time to see what he could do. Here’s how the whole thing went down.

Figuring Out the Starting Lineup
First things first, I had to decide who to bench to make room for Montgomery. This is always the toughest part, right? It’s like, I drafted these guys for a reason, but someone’s gotta sit.
I looked at my roster, and my running backs were pretty stacked. I had Bijan Robinson and Josh Jacobs already starting. Those two have been killing it, so they were definitely staying in.
Then I saw my flex spot. And took out Zack Moss out, a tough choice, to make space for David.
Making the Swap
So, I went into my lineup, and found Montgomery. Clicked on him, found Zack, and hit that “swap” button. Boom! Montgomery was in my starting lineup. It felt good, like I was finally unleashing a secret weapon or something.
The Anxious Wait
With Montgomery officially in, all I could do was wait for the games to start. I kept checking my app, refreshing the scores, hoping to see a big run or a touchdown from him. It’s that nervous energy you get when you make a lineup change, you know? You’re just hoping you made the right call.
Checking the Results
- First Half: I checked in at halftime, and Montgomery had a decent start. He was picking up some yardage. Not a monster game yet, but solid. He got a Touchdown!
- Second Half: He kept grinding. He was getting a good amount of carries.
- Final Stats: Ended up with a touchdown with reasonable yards. Pretty good for a first start, I’d say!
Final Thoughts
Overall, I’m feeling pretty good about starting Montgomery. It paid off. He’s definitely a solid option, and I’m glad I finally gave him a shot. It’s a long season, and you never know when a guy like Montgomery might be the key to winning a week. Always gotta be ready to shake things up!
