Alright, so I got curious about this whole “white cornerback in the NFL” thing. It’s not something you see every day, right? So, I decided to dig in and see what’s what.

My Little Research Project
First, I hit up Google. Just typed in “white cornerback NFL” and started browsing. I found a bunch of articles and forum discussions. Lots of people talking about it, some old lists, that kind of thing.
Then, I wanted to see if there were any recent players. So I went to some NFL team roster pages. I figured I’d just look at the pictures and see if any cornerbacks looked white. It’s not the most scientific method, I know, but I was just curious.
- I spent a good hour or two just clicking around.
- I looked at a lot of faces.
- Most of the cornerbacks were black, like you’d expect.
Honestly, I didn’t find many. It confirmed what I already thought – it’s pretty rare. It got me thinking about why that is, but that’s a whole other rabbit hole. Maybe another day!
My little experiment wasn’t super in-depth, but it gave me a better sense of things. It’s definitely not common to see a white cornerback in the NFL.
