Okay, so, I wanted to share this experience I had with Francia James, or Francety, as some of you might know her. She’s this Colombian-American model and social media influencer that I’ve been following for a bit. She’s got this huge following, like 12 million on some platforms, and she’s always putting out this bold and creative content.
So, I started following her a while ago, just browsing through her posts and videos. You know, she’s got like 13 million likes on TikTok, and her videos are always popping off. One day, I was scrolling through her stuff and saw she had this post that got, like, 191,000 likes. It was her dressed up as the Nutcracker, and it was at some shopping center. It was pretty wild, honestly.
Anyways, I got curious about her, so I started digging a little deeper. Turns out she’s from this small town in Colombia called Manizales. I found out that she’s focused on her career right now, and honestly, with how much she’s blowing up, I can see why. She calls herself “Orgullosamente Latina,” which means “Proudly Latina,” and you can really see that pride in her work. She creates “Art For You,” as she says.
So, here’s where it gets interesting. I decided I wanted to try and recreate some of her content, just for fun, you know? I mean, she’s always doing these creative things, and I thought, why not? I started small, trying to mimic some of her poses and outfits. It was a bit of a mess at first, I’m not gonna lie. I definitely don’t have her modeling skills, but it was fun trying.
- First attempt: Tried to recreate her Nutcracker look. Let me tell you, finding a Nutcracker outfit was a challenge in itself. Ended up looking more like a confused toy soldier, but hey, it was a start.
- Second attempt: I went for something simpler, one of her more casual looks. This was a bit more manageable, but still, getting the vibe right was tough.
- Third attempt: This is where I started getting the hang of it. I focused on the energy and confidence she brings to her content. It wasn’t about copying her exactly, but more about capturing that spirit.
After a few tries, I started to see some progress. My photos and videos were getting better, and I was actually having a lot of fun with it. It was like this little creative project, and I was learning a lot about photography, editing, and even a bit about fashion.
My Takeaway
This whole experience made me appreciate content creators like Francia James even more. It’s not just about taking a picture or making a video. There’s a lot of thought, creativity, and effort that goes into it. Plus, it’s a lot harder than it looks! But it’s also super rewarding when you start to see your own progress and creativity come to life.
So, yeah, that’s my little story about trying to recreate some of Francia James’ content. It was a fun, messy, and ultimately rewarding experience. I’m not saying I’m gonna be the next big influencer or anything, but it definitely gave me a new perspective on what they do. And hey, maybe I’ll keep experimenting with it. Who knows where it might lead?
