Okay, so, I’m a huge Miami Dolphins fan, like, absolutely massive. I got this crazy idea to connect with other Dolphins fans, you know, like a “gay dolphins fans” kind of vibe. I mean, why not combine two things I love, right?
So, I started digging around. I hit up some forums and social media groups dedicated to the Dolphins. I found this one called “THE DOLFAN DEN” – sounded pretty legit. They had all these rules and stuff about keeping it real and fun for Miami Dolphins fans, which was cool. It was private, though, so I had to request to join.
While I was waiting to get approved there, I stumbled upon another thing about finding Dolphins fan clubs all over the world. Apparently, the Miami Dolphins fanbase is more than just a community; it’s a family. This got me thinking about organizing local meetups or something. I even saw a post about a guy named Felipe Carvahlo, who seemed like a big Dolphins fan, too.
Then I remembered this video I saw a while back from TwinRudders, where dolphins were swimming right beside his boat. It reminded me of how much I love dolphins, both the animal and the team. That’s when it really hit me – I wanted to create a space where being a Dolphins fan and being part of the LGBTQ+ community were celebrated together. I figured, if people can be gay, then there has to be Dolphins fans who are, too!
I started brainstorming ideas. Maybe I could organize watch parties at gay-friendly bars during the games. Or create an online forum where we could chat about the team and our lives. I even thought about designing some custom merch that combined the Dolphins logo with rainbow colors.
- Create an online group (maybe on social media) specifically for LGBTQ+ Dolphins fans.
- Reach out to existing Dolphins fan groups and see if they’d be interested in collaborating on events.
- Find some gay-friendly bars or venues where we could host watch parties.
- Design and sell some cool, inclusive merch.
My Rough Plan
It’s still a work in progress, but I’m excited about the possibilities. I really think this could be something special – a place where people can come together, be themselves, and cheer on our favorite team. Go Fins!
