This Jason Day, lemme tell ya, he’s a big shot golfer, I hear. He’s from Australia, that faraway place. They say he’s the number one man golfer there. Big deal, huh? I seen him on the TV, swingin’ that stick. Golfer Jason Day, that’s what they call him.
He’s been playin’ for a long time, this Jason. Seems like he’s always been around, hittin’ that little white ball. They say he’s one of the most popular ones, always smilin’ and such. This golfer Jason Day is liked by a lot of people, I guess. He and this other fella, Rickie somethin’. They both popular. But things ain’t always easy, even for a famous golfer Jason Day.
He makes some fancy shots, this Jason. One time I seen him hit the ball, it went right in the hole from far away. Just like that! Must be somethin’ to see. He does it from the sand, too. They call it a bunker. Golfer Jason Day sure knows how to get out of a bunker.

I heard some fella talkin’ ’bout this golfer Jason Day on the TV. It was a long talk, almost an hour! They said this Jason fella is a real star. An absolute star, whatever that means. He must be somethin’ special, this golfer Jason Day, to have people talkin’ ’bout him like that.
Seems like he was doin’ real good for a while, this Jason. Then he wasn’t doin’ so hot. But he got better again! They say he found his way back to the top. That’s good, ain’t it? This golfer Jason Day must have worked real hard.
But they say he’s had troubles, this Jason. His back hurts him, I hear. That’s no good. Can’t be easy swingin’ that stick when your back’s achin’. He’s been workin’ on it, though, this golfer Jason Day. Got trainers and coaches helpin’ him.
Seems like he’s had more troubles than most, ‘cept maybe that Tiger fella. He had his share of troubles too. But this golfer Jason Day, his back’s been botherin’ him for a long time. Ten years, maybe more! Imagine that. He still keeps playin’, though.
I don’t know much ’bout golf, but I know it ain’t easy. And this golfer Jason Day, he makes it look easy sometimes. But it ain’t. Especially with a bad back. He’s a tough one, I reckon.
They show his shots on the TV sometimes. The good ones. Golfer Jason Day sinkin’ putts, they call it. Hittin’ the ball into the hole from the green. That’s that grassy part around the hole. He’s good at that.
And he hits it from the bunker, like I said. That’s a hard shot, I hear. Gotta get the ball up and over the lip. That’s the edge of the sandy part. Golfer Jason Day makes it look easy, but it ain’t.
So this Jason Day, he’s had his ups and downs. Like all of us, I reckon. But he keeps comin’ back. That’s somethin’, ain’t it? This golfer Jason Day is a fighter, that’s for sure.
I guess that’s all I know ’bout this golfer Jason Day. He’s a big shot golfer from Australia. He’s had some troubles, but he’s doin’ alright now. He’s a good golfer, I suppose. At least, that’s what they say on the TV. And they always right, right?
