Okay, so, the Harvey Weinstein and Nina Agdal thing… yeah, I went down that rabbit hole today. Don’t judge. We all have our moments of curiosity, right?

It all started with seeing something on Twitter, a headline about Nina Agdal maybe saying something about him. So, naturally, I Googled it. Straight up, “harvey weinstein nina agdal.” First few results were just news articles recapping the whole scandal, nothing specific to Agdal. I dug a little deeper.
Next, I tried filtering my search by time, specifically looking for recent stuff, like within the last month. Still mostly just general Weinstein news. I started adding keywords like “comments” and “interview” to my searches to try and narrow it down.
Then, I hit YouTube. Figured if she said something, it’d probably be in an interview or something. Searched “nina agdal harvey weinstein interview.” Bingo! Found a couple of clips where she was talking about the experience, but nothing super explosive. Mostly just reiterating the impact of his actions and how important it is for women to speak up.
I wanted to see if she’d written anything herself. So, I went back to Google and searched for “nina agdal harvey weinstein essay” and then “nina agdal harvey weinstein statement”. Found a few articles quoting her statements, but nothing directly from her, like on her own website or a blog. Strike two.
Social media time. Instagram and Twitter. Checked her accounts for anything relevant. Nada. Nothing directly addressing him by name. I went through comments on some older posts, see if anyone else was talking about it. Still nothing. It was like finding a needle in a haystack.
Finally, after what felt like hours, I realized that the initial tweet I saw was probably just clickbait. All this searching, and I ended up finding nothing new. Just the same old story rehashed. A reminder that not everything you see online is true. Lesson learned, I guess. Now I’m gonna go touch some grass.
