I was curious about whether the Baltimore Ravens had ever won a Super Bowl. It’s one of those things you hear about, but I never really looked into it. So, I decided to find out for myself.
I started by searching the internet. It didn’t take long to find some information. I learned that the Ravens are a relatively new team, only having played their first game in 1996. Seems like they didn’t waste any time, though.
I found out that they actually won the Super Bowl in 2001! That’s pretty impressive for a young team. It was Super Bowl XXXV, and they played against the New York Giants. Apparently, they crushed them, 34-7. I watched some old videos that said their quarterback, Dilfer, did a great job with 12 of 25 passes for 153 yards and one touchdown. They mentioned that it was a real blowout.
But that’s not all. They did it again in 2013! This time it was Super Bowl XLVII, and they played against the San Francisco 49ers. I saw a video about this game, too, and it was a nail-biter! It went down to the wire, but the Ravens pulled it off, 34-31. Man, that must have been an exciting game to watch. They mentioned that Ray Lewis and the Ravens worked together to win this game.
So, there you have it. The Baltimore Ravens have won not one, but two Super Bowls. That’s pretty cool. I guess they’re a force to be reckoned with in the NFL. From what I saw, they have an 11.1% chance of winning another Super Bowl, so maybe they’ll add another win to their record soon.
It’s funny how you can just dive into something you’re curious about and learn a bunch of stuff. Now I know a little bit more about the Ravens and their Super Bowl victories. I might even start following them a bit more closely now.
